BREAKING: Trump Announces He’s Agreed To Three Presidential Debates

On Thursday, President Donald Trump held a press conference at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Palm Beach, Florida. During the presser, the 45th president announced that he had agreed with multiple networks to hold three debates with Vice President Kamala Harris.

“I think it’s very important to have debates. We have agreed with Fox on a date of September 4. We’ve agreed with NBC, fairly full agreement subject to them, on September 10, and we’ve agreed with ABC on September 25. So we have those three dates and those networks, they are very anxiously awaiting those dates,” Trump said. “We have spoken to the heads of the network, and it’s all been confirmed.” The Trump campaign later clarified that the September 10 debate would be with ABC News and the September 25 debate would be with NBC News.

While President Trump has agreed to do debates with the three networks, Vice President Harris has refused to commit to the Fox News debate proposed on September 4. Instead, the Harris campaign insisted that Trump commit to the ABC debate on September 10, initially set up when President Biden was still running for a second term. Trump’s challenge to Harris now puts pressure on the vice president to agree to not one but three debates.

The Harris campaign has yet to confirm whether it will participate in the Fox News or NBC News debates on September 4 and September 25. However, Trump’s announcement indicates that there will be at least one debate between the two candidates on September 10.
