First Lady Jill Biden has been busy this summer, between beaching with Joe Biden in Delaware, and acting has his medical handler as he meanders around aimlessly in public.
However, a recent photo of her was just posted online that a lot of people are finding “disturbing” for the message she’s representing in it. While the Bidens hide a lot of things, like their business dealings with their wayward son Hunter and how Joe pocketed millions of dollars on a paltry (by comparison) politician’s salary, one thing they’re not quiet about is their divisive political agenda.
Jill is no different than Joe in parading her political beliefs in the public’s face, in fact, some believe she’s steering the ship at the White House as Joe wanders around being told what to do and where to go. While her husband was ruining the country, Jill went to the city that’s a perfect picture of the state of our nation under his leadership, San Francisco, California, where this group pic was snapped and shared on Instagram.
In the photo, Jill poses for a group photo with representatives from Manny’s, a “civic and political events space; SF’s town hall looking to effect change,” according to the space’s social media bio. At a time when parents are criminalized for fighting back against sexualized “family” events hosted and/or featuring drag queens, Jill shows what side she stands with.
According to the post caption, Manny’s is “unapologetically queer and unapologetically political.” Both unapologetic stances are completely fine, however, the double standard is not. If anyone else, say, on the other side of the political aisle, were to say that they were unapologetically straight, white, and push their politics on everyone, they would be accused of using hate speech and being bigoted or racist, among a plethora of other adjectives.
Jill and Joe Biden each made separate stops in the Bay Area this past June. Jill was there on June 13th to “participate in a fundraising reception for her husband’s 2024 campaign, according to an email newsletter sent Tuesday by the Mission-based cafe and civic events space Manny’s, which hosts a range of political, arts and community events,” the San Francisco Standard reported.
“That’s right—Dr. Jill Biden is coming to our little corner of San Francisco for a special afternoon fundraising reception for President Biden’s Campaign and I’d like to invite you to join,” wrote Manny’s proprietor Manny Yekutiel. “It’s a huge moment for me personally and for Manny’s so I hope you’ll dig deep, get on board, support the President, and come hang with the First Lady and me.”
It’s unclear how much or if the event was a fundraising success for the First Couple. However, if ticket sales are any indicator, the Biden’s couldn’t turn out a big crows in even one of the most liberal cities in America. The SF Standard reported at the time of the event that tickets for the general reception range from $100 to $1,000 and that most sales were of the $100 tickets, leaving a lot of the pricier options up for grabs.
