As she introduced “Fox News Tonight” on Monday, Harris Faulkner shared tales of Christian faith and patriotism while also sharing a personal experience she had lately while dining out.
“The Lord has determined I am a woman,” she began during the opening segment. “And my pronouns are U.S.A. Our nation’s soul is at stake. And we really only have a couple of choices, three, really: We can be bad at protecting the greatest nation on the Earth. We can be average at protecting the greatest nation on the Earth. Or we can be elite at protecting the greatest nation on Earth. We know who we are. And we know whose we are.”
She continued by claiming that a restaurant had expelled her for praying prior to her meal.
“For those of us who believe, we must be bold in our faith right now. When you gather in public spaces, pray thankfully over your food – even when the server gives you the stink eye or tells the manager that your peaceful grace is triggering them,” she said.
“Had it happen to me. I’ve been asked to leave a restaurant for openly bowing my head in prayer hands. In America. It’s all good. They don’t deserve my money anyway,” Faulkner added.
“My faith determines my values. And I hope you’re living by your values and what brings you joy and peace and love,” she concluded.

In a period that was previously occupied by network star Tucker Carlson before Fox booted him off the air in late April, Faulkner is the most recent in a string of alternating hosts. After then, viewership has fallen precipitously, prompting Fox management to think about canceling more shows and changing the lineup.
Steve Hilton is the most recent casualty; his Sunday show at 9 p.m. has also been canceled.
He is quitting, according to Mediate, to devote himself fully to what the network called a “new California non-partisan policy organization launching next week.” Hilton intends to continue contributing to the network.
Mediaite also pointed out:
In light of those departures, Fox announced a new lineup starting this weekend. The network is getting rid of The Big Saturday and Sunday Show to make way for The Big Weekend Show (talk about streamlining) which will air at 7 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays. A new program called Fox News Saturday Night will air at 10 p.m. on, you guessed it, Saturday night.
Mediaite also learned that the changes extend to one tweak in weekday programming: Fox & Friends First, the network’s 4 a.m. to 6 a.m. show, will be shrinking to just one hour, starting at 5 a.m. Congratulations to Carly Shimkus and Todd Piro on the extra hour of much-needed sleep.
Dan Bongino recently left the network as well, freeing up a Saturday night time slot, although he claims it wasn’t because Fox took him off the air.
In a lengthy interview last month on “The Megyn Kelly Show,” Bongino discussed his resignation from Fox in late April. This left many people perplexed because it occurred about the same time that Fox parted ways with popular anchor Carlson. According to Bongino, he departed the network due to a misalignment of goals for his program.
“I think a lot of people think this may be some kind of anti-Trump thing. I gotta say — that wasn’t my case,” Bongino said.
“I was not targeted. My show, they were dying to re-up — we negotiated for an entire year. So I can’t tell you like, ‘Oh, Fox got rid of me,’ because they didn’t. The liberal jerk wads are gonna go, ‘Oh Dan Bongino was fired.’ I just give them the middle fingers. It’s just stupid,” Bongino said.
