GOP presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy has reached double digits in new Republican primary polls.
In an Echelon Insights survey, Ramaswamy sits in third place in the GOP presidential primary.
President Trump still dominates the poll, with a commanding lead at 49 percent.
Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis remains in second place at 16 percent.
However, Ramaswamy has climbed to 10 percent support in the poll.
Mike Pence, Nikki Haley, and Tim Scott round out the top-6.
“Congratulations to Vivek Ramaswamy who has now climbed 7 points in the last 2 weeks, putting him only 6 points behind DeSantis,” investigative journalist Laura Loomer wrote.
“Soon Vivek will surpass DeSantis. He’s much more likable than Ron,” she added.
The survey was taken June 26-29, 2023, and included 1,020 likely voters.
In a head-to-head matchup between Trump and DeSantis, Trump leads 60% to 32%.
Breitbart reports:
Ramaswamy, who has seen a significant increase in terms of name recognition and favorability in Morning Consult’s weekly survey, has made waves after charging fellow presidential candidates to join him in committing to pardon Trump for federal charges on their first day in office.
“I challenge every US Presidential candidate to join me in standing for TRUTH. Commit to pardon Donald Trump for these federal charges on Day 1, or explain why you won’t,” Ramaswamy wrote in a social media post on June 13:
Among those who have refused to say if they would pardon Trump is Pence, asserting that it is “premature” to have that conversation.
