Eva Evans, an influencer from New York City, killed herself at the age of 29.
Police sources told TMZ that the TikTok star was found in her apartment on Saturday night by a friend who had the key. A note was left for Evans’ friend, who told police that they didn’t know she was having mental health problems.
Evans’s sister Lila told the world on Instagram that the famous person had died. In the post’s caption, which had a picture of Evans smiling and wearing a bright dress, Lila praised her sister and told the sad news.
She wrote, “Please share this post so that it gets to everyone it needs to.” “We found out yesterday that my beautiful sister Eva has died. She was so sweet, creative, caring, and funny.”
Before showing her support for Evans’ fans, Lila was honest about her own grief. She said, “After 24 hours, I still find myself in a constant cycle of denial and acceptance, so I know how unbelievable and hard this news will be to process.”
She said that there would be “a celebration of Eva” in lower Manhattan. Fans were also told they could send her a message to find out how to get to the event.
Lila said how much she loves and misses her sister at the end of her caption. She also said she wouldn’t be posting on social media as much because she was planning Evans’s party.
She wrote, “I wish Eva were here right now to help me… she would have better words and know how to say what I don’t.” “This is short so that we can make plans for the next few days. But you’ll hear a lot more from me about how much Eva means to me and how different the world will be without her.”
A lot of fans and other influential people wrote in the comments to tell Evans’ family how sorry they were. They also told the TikTok star how much they admired her.
“I’m so sorry about your loss.” Tonight, I’ll light a candle for her. I’m so sorry for your loss and the loss of everyone who loved her. TIF star Tefi Pessoa wrote, “I’ll ask my grandparents to show her around.”
“I’m so sorry about your loss, Lila.” “You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers,” wrote model Lameka Fox.
“The world is not the same without her. The loss is unbearable to those of us who were lucky enough to have known her brilliance and goodness.” “Be safe, Lila, and love,” said a third fan.
