The Lion King fans are in shock. The iconic actor passed away today.

He was 93 years old.

It was reported early Monday morning that the famous actor who was in The Lion King, Field of Dreams, Star Wars, and other movies had died at his home in New York.

According to Deadline, some information about his death was not immediately available.

It was James’s most famous work that he did as the voice of Darth Vader in The Lion King and Coming to America.

The actor has a son named Flynn Earl Jones.

“May you rest in peace, James Earl Jones.” Someone wrote, “One of the most powerful, evocative, and emotional voices in film history.”

“The effect that James Earl Jones had on Star Wars cannot be overstated,” said a third blogger.

He wrote, “#RIP dad,” along with an emoji of a broken heart, over an article that confirmed his death.

Geoffrey Lucas, who made Star Wars, also shared a touching tribute.

“James was an amazing actor and had a voice that was both beautiful and expressive,” the director said in a statement.

“For almost fifty years, he was Darth Vader, but secretly, he was a beautiful person.” In all of his roles, including being a loving husband to Ceci, who died, and a father to Flynn, he added depth, sincerity, and meaning.

George ended, “James will be missed by so many of us, buddies and fans alike.”

JAMES’ REMARKABLE PROFESSION

Jimmy James became one of the most famous Black actors of his time.

His career lasted more than 60 years and included many different jobs.
