”This is the side of law enforcement that we do not hear about enough. This is Linnea, a Placerville resident and Deputy Lane. This weekend, Linnea called because she was feeling extremely lonely. Linnea lives alone and has no family members nearby. Deputy Lane responded, spent some quality time with Linnea and ensured she had everything that she needed.
After chatting about her “very interesting life”, Deputy Lane had to go on to other calls for service. Before leaving, Deputy Lane contacted Sierra Chaplaincy and requested a chaplain to respond for further company and is locating other resources for Linnea. This “Total Care” is exactly what we look for in our deputies. Great work Deputy Lane!”
