Tom Selleck was spotted working out in Thousand Oaks after the Blue Bloods season concluded in June, sporting a tough all-black gym attire. Wearing a pair of Brooks running shoes, he strolled through the streets while sporting comfortable high-waisted shorts.
Tom’s distinctive facial hair, which he has been taking care of for the past few months, looked great with his salt-and-pepper hair. Tom is apparently having a vacation with his wife, Jillie Mack, on their 65-acre ranch in California following the abrupt cancellation of the Blue Bloods.
Tom, who plays NYPD police commissioner Frank Reagan on the television series Blue Bloods, has publicly voiced his dissatisfaction with the show’s ending and stated his hope that CBS’s decision-makers will reconsider. Since no more episodes of the drama series will show when season 14 concludes in October, it looks like there is no turning back on the cancellation.
Tom added that even though he has other sources of income in addition to earning up to $200,000 every episode, he could fall behind on his payments as a result of the show’s cancellation. On a CBS Sunday Mornings program, he warned journalist Tracy Smith that his present salary might not be enough to support his long-term retirement on the ranch.
Tom has seen a bright spot in losing his Blue Bloods gig, pointing out that it presents an opportunity to slow down and spend more time with Jillie. According to a source, the elderly couple still maintains a loving connection and enjoys spending meaningful time together.
Tom hopes his daughter Hannah gets married soon because he is not yet a grandfather. Hannah is a skilled equestrian and Tom encourages her to pursue a career in horse jumping. Tom has recently stopped travelling back and forth from the East Coast to film Blue Bloods on a regular basis in order to experiment with a new, less demanding schedule.
