For a fleeting second, Clara completely forgot how to breathe as she stared across the room. “Violet?” Clara called out softly. The little girl paused near the entrance, her yellow cardigan buttoned incorrectly and dark circles under her eyes.

Gabriel panicked and tried to object, but Judge Holloway ordered the clerk to inspect the files. The audio echoed through the courtroom: 17 video recordings clearly captured Gabriel and Samantha plotting to hide $800,000 in secret offshore accounts, deliberately inflating corporate debts, and manipulating Clara into thinking she was losing her mind.

“She is scared enough to walk away without a single dollar if she believes it keeps me away from her baby,” Gabriel’s recorded voice boasted.
