The GoPro recording clearly showed the picnic blanket, the surrounding green grass, and much of the park pavilion area.

David skipped the video forward until he found the exact moment just before the chaotic incident. What he saw left him completely speechless.

The video revealed that Lily had been completely alone for a brief period while her parents were temporarily distracted. Then another figure entered the frame.

It was Toby, the fourteen-year-old son of their immediate neighbor Sarah. He approached the family blanket carefully. He looked around several times, checking whether anyone was watching.

Then he reached deep into his hoodie pocket and removed a small blue bottle. David watched in horror as Toby unscrewed Lily’s pink sippy cup and poured a thick, clear liquid into the grape juice inside.

Before Toby could finish what he was doing, Buster exploded into action. The dog sprinted across the grass at full speed and slammed into Lily, knocking her away from the cup.
